Geography – curriculum information

As Geographers, our children at Bude Park Primary School will:

  • Be inspired to develop a curiosity and fascination about the world and its people, which will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
  • Be provided with opportunities to access, investigate and make enquiries about their local area, the United Kingdom and the wider world.
  • Be encouraged to creatively use fieldwork data to deepen their understanding of geographical processes.
  • Be encouraged to have an increasing awareness of environmental issues and the impact humans have now and in the future.
  • Be encouraged to become reflective members of society, who consider their choices and actively invest in protecting the planet.
