Design & Technology – curriculum information

As Design Technologists, our children at Bude Park Primary School will:

  • Take a creative and imaginative approach to Design and Technology.
  • Learn in an inspiring, rigorous and practical way, which will enable them to create products that consider others’ needs and values.
  • Access a broad and balanced curriculum which teaches the skills linked to each of the three disciplines: Construction, Food Technology and Textiles
  • Within each of these areas, children will design, make and evaluate a product. Children will solve real problems, work practically, and make links to other areas of the curriculum.
